Nominator's project description
| Professor Bozejko is honoured for his achievements in the field of Discrete Harmonic Analysis and Noncommutative Probability. In particular, he has made excellent contributions to the theory of lacunary sets, the Herz-Schur algebra and the solution of the long-standing problem of classical realization for q-Gaussian processes. During his stay in Germany, his research project in collaboration with his German host deals with the similarity problem for representations of C*-algebras, the problem of Dixmier and Coxeter groups. |
